On a cold March night, Brooklyn’s Market Hotel pulsed with bass, sweat, and something stranger—something visual.
The World of Drum & Bass, hosted by underground legends @bp2dnb, took over the iconic venue for a night of fast breaks and low-end rumble. Our job?
Deliver a full projection mapping Brooklyn experience that turned every inch of that venue into a living, breathing visual instrument.
The Vision
BP2 didn’t just want a screen in the corner.
They wanted both rooms to move with the music, to immerse the crowd in reactive light, to transform the space into another dimension.
We were all in.
The Setup
• 2 rooms
• 4 projectors
• 4 live VJs
• Custom-designed motion visuals
• Live IMAG feeds
• Audio-reactive elements across both spaces
We built a dual-room projection mapping system with seamless coverage. While one VJ team ran motion loops and effects in Room 1, the other delivered live audio-reactive visuals and camera feeds in Room 2—all synced to the sound system and stage flow.
This project showcased the scale and complexity that’s possible with our projection mapping Brooklyn services, especially for high-energy nightlife and underground events.
The Night
The second the bass hit, the rooms came alive.
From warm-up to peak jungle madness, the walls rippled, stretched, and glitched with the sound. Projectors turned concrete into kinetic sculptures. VJs sculpted light in real time.
Every drop had a visual echo. Every transition—mapped.
This was not background ambiance. This was the heartbeat of the space.
The Soundtrack
Our recap reel is scored with “Tarkin” by Pythius & Neonlight—a full-force collision of sound and tension that perfectly matches the energy of the night.
Massive love to every DJ who blessed the decks, the entire @bp2dnb team, and our four VJs who helped us run the rooms into visual overdrive.
Scaling Projection Mapping in Brooklyn Nightlife Spaces
This wasn’t just another club night. It was proof that with the right team and tools, you can turn any venue into a fully immersive experience—and that projection mapping Brooklyn isn’t just about cool effects. It’s about creating emotion, memory, and energy.
We didn’t just light the walls—we helped tell the story of the night.
And we can do the same for yours.
